The Big 4th Birthday

We can't believe it, but our little girl is 4. It seems like just yesterday that she was a baby. We know many of you think that of your adult children, but wow has she changed a lot in the last 4 years. We are very lucky.

We Saw the Dinosaurs, Stomping, Stomping

While in Florida we also visited Dinosaur World. We saw many dinosaurs, uncovered bones and went on a fossil dig. Angela's favorites were T-Rex and the Long Necks that she had just learned about in school, and of course the fossil dig.

Vacation in Florida

We just returned from vacation in Florida where the kids enjoyed playing with 4 of their cousins. It was great to see family after not being there in more than a year. We had a great time!

The snow started here last night and is expected to continue through tonight. It is so beautiful that I wanted to share some local pictures. Angela's dance class was cancelled due to weather so the kids even had time to play in the snow tonight. They had fun!

Angela had her first dance class last night and she really enjoyed it. They also will be doing some basic gymnastics as a part of each class. All the girls had a lot of fun!

This past Halloween was a lot of fun as usual at Jon's and Krissy's house. Grandma was there for the mayhem as well as Uncle Pete and Aunt Marilynn. The costumes were grand and a swashbucklin' good time was had by all!

Angela and Benjamin went trick or treating for the first time this year and really had fun. They don't trick or treat in Colombia where we were last year, but they do like to celebrate Halloween with great parties. Barbara came with us and helped Angela along the way. Thanks Barbara! We hope you had fun.

Cooking in the kitchen

When Mom was here visiting in August she did a lot of cooking for us. It was delicious, and we are very grateful. She even made pickles!

Don't Be Like Me

Benjamin likes his big sister a lot and loves to spend time with her, although she thinks he is in her way a lot. We told Angela that Benjamin just wants to be like her because he loves his big sister. So now when Ben is bothering Angela while she is playing, we often hear "Don't be like me, don't be like me" from the other room. The joys of siblings. :)

Benjamin after surgery

Benjamin has fully recovered from surgery and is doing very well. He is walking further than he has and getting into more "trouble" than ever before. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Also thanks to Grandma who extended her stay to help while Ben was in the hospital.

We have heard the comments. It is true we haven't updated the site in awhile, but now we are back with new updates. Since our last entry, many things have happened. The kids are getting bigger (they have each celebrated a birthday) as you can see from the pictures below.
