I knowed them two varmints in the second picture. The big un was knowed as Dirty Dave Pedersen and the other was his half breed side kick Dick Redmen whos family come from down in Oaklahoma territory. I figure that picture is about fifty years old and was took on the old Rogge place down on middle Bear Crick in the hill country south of Tomah. I reckon theys both been shot or hanged long ago. Sneeky Pete
The picture of me in a hand me down suit was taken when I was 16 and was going to a formal dance at THS with Betsy Rice. The corner of a picture showing in the photo is a painting now hanging above our living room couch. The picture behind me on the shelf is of brother Tom. The photo of the bad boys was real. We terrorized the lands south of Tomah. No one would stand against us and our names were feared throughout the territory. I should add that the vest, hat, and the Remington Wingmaster 12 guage pump shotgun actually belonged to brother Tom. I believe that he still owns the shotgun. The notches on the handle, however, are mine! The last photo was of my dad and it would have been the small stream below Jellystone that drains the cranberry marsh. We used to fish it every year and dad always caught his limit while I caught 3 or 4. I have no idea who took the picture. One more thing. Please note that I had HAIR!
